REAL MADRID, Robinho: "We Know Nothing's Won"

Madrid currently hold a nine-point advantage over second-placed Barcelona at the top of La Liga, but Robinho knows that they have to continue playing as they have done so far if they are to win the title.

"The atmosphere is good, we are all very content and very happy with the way we are going, but also we are conscious that there are many games left and that we must continue playing the same way until the end," he told AS.

Almeria are Madrid's opponents on Sunday and Robinho believes that they cannot afford to take the newly-promoted side lightly.

"It is a difficult match because they are a team that are always better at home and that has a lot of physical players, so we must be prepared. However, I believe that whoever the opponents, Real Madrid will always go out to win the game.

Robinho also stated that victories over the 'lesser' teams are just as important - if not more so - than victory over their main title rivals.

"Being champion is not only about winning the decisive games against Villarreal, Barcelona or Atlético Madrid

"Looking at teams like Almeria on paper; in theory they are small, but it is always necessary to get the points as they don't count any less than against the 'big' teams."

With eight goals so far this season, Robinho has found himself on the score-sheet on a more regular basis that last season and believes this is because he has been playing further up the pitch this campaign.

"I believe that it is because of my position, because now I am much nearer to the goal and with the quality that Raul and Ruud have, I get more chances to score goals.

"In addition, I am working on my finishing in training and improving a lot," he concluded.
